Went to er was given a steroid shot and prescription for prednisone.I took 3 20mg a day for 5 days
It has been a week and my yeast infection is back, my neck and face are swollen hot and itch and pain
Had blood work 2 days ago no results yet won't know now until Monday.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Yes diflucan (fluconazole) can cause reactions. From your description it seems more like allergic reaction to fluconazole. Fluconazole can alter the normal flora of skin and can also cause such reactions. Can you upload a photo of the rash so that I am better able to help?
In case of allergic reactions, steroidal medicines like prednisone are employed. You are already been given those. Anti-histamines like benadryl are also very helpful. To avoid long term side effects of steroids, they are usually employed for few days and then patient is continued on antihistamines till symptoms subside. The allergic reactions to medicines can take any amount of time ranging from a few days to a few months. So avoid unnecessary antihistamines as well.
Avoid taking any anti-fungal in future.
In which part of body did you have yeast infection? Yeast infection can occur in any part of body. Low immunity can cause it. Antibiotics can also cause it. Thus to avoid unnecessary medicines, take cleaner drinking water with TDS less than 20ppm. Also regular exercise to boost immunity. In my clinical experience these lifestyle measures have helped many people control yeast infections.
Hope it helps.
