Suggest Treatment For Swelling On The Forehead Post Injury

Question : I am a female of age 26. Before 3 months my forehead hurt by a plastic chair and it causes bleeding. I went to a local pharmacist and he put betadine ointment and put a bandaids on it. After two days I put off that bandaid and after some days thw wound ( a linear wound of about 2 cm length) started healing. The spot is still there and I can still feel a very small swelling( about 2 mm radius) near the spot and when I press it cause a little pain. Sir is it anything serious and can it lead to cancer???? I heard that one boy in developed cancer after some days when he got a swelling due to trauma while playing cricket. Is it anything serious like that in my case ????

You have developed a small swelling over forehead 3 months after a trivial trauma which has healed up with primary first aid treatment and worried about it to become cancer .

First of all what you have heard about some one developing cancer is impossible in reality .It is never true that there are chances of getting cancer after having such minor injuries The story may be all together different than what you have heard about .

The swelling that one develops is due to inflammation of a soft tissue at the site of trauma which gets resolved over a period of time .Hence there is nothing to be feared or worried about .It is just an anxiety .
