Question : I have a tkr I walked up a bunch of steep steps and then hill. Next day knee was swollen could hardly walk, then calf swelled, now bruising in front of leg and back of leg and ankle. Knee doesnt hurt anymore just calf.

Hello. Your description matches what we see with a deep venous thrombosus--a clot in a deep leg vein. You need to see a doctor immediately for an exam and Doppler venous studies of the leg, and if you have a DVT it needs to be treated with blood thinners to prevent your developing a potentially life-threatening pulmonary embolus
