Suggest Treatment For Swine Flu
Question: hi doctor I am 36 years of age and was in contact with relative very briefly for 30 min who was today diagnosed as suffering from swine flu. I am also suffering from cold and light fever since yesterday and was taking crocin and cefixime 250 since morning.. though I am feeling better as compared to morNing and having all meals properly .. should I take any other medicine and wait till tomorrow. fever is around 99.

Firstly antibiotics have no role in swine flu.
Secondly even if you contracted swine flu from your relative, there is very less chance that it spreads through the lungs and is fatal. Most swine flu cases recover by themselves with minor intervention in few days.
Since you have a cold and have started cefixime (Antibiotic) take 3 day course. That would be enough. Crocin can be taken for fever as required upto 3-4 times a day.
