Question : I hurt my knee and put a band on it overnight. Band may have been to tight and now I have a swollen ankle and lower leg. How do I get rid of the swelling?

Put the leg higher.

Hello.

Thank you for the query.

The only way you can do that is to put the leg higher when lying down (put a pillow under it).
If the swelling wont go away in the next 24 hours you should consult your doctor and have Dopplers veins ultrasound as you could cause veins thrombosis.
