Question : I had a lengthy 5.5 hours back surgery, the result is A fib on my heart. doctor put me on cardezim. my ankles and feet are very sowollen Im male 73 years old.

Swelling is likely due to cardizem only. Its a known side effect of cardizem. So you should request your doctor to change the cardizem to Metoprolol Xr. The swelling will in a week or two.
You should also restrict salt consumption and request Doctor for diuretics like torsemide 5 mg morning 8 am if swelling is severe.
