Brief Answer:
She should take anti inflammatory tablet.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description, she has developed subcutaneous edema due to soft tissue injury.I prescribe tablet containing Aceclofenac 100mg along with Trypsin and chymotrypsin to my patients with similar complaints. This combination reduces the swelling drastically.
If there is redness and pain,I add Antibiotic like Amoxycillin 500mg thrice daily.
Nothing to worry. It will come down.
Bony injury has to be excluded.
Please consult your doctor, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly. Get an appropriate prescription.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
