                                    Brief Answer:
It could be Submental lymphnode.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Swelling below the chin could be a submental lymphnode.
It might have enlarged due to infection of drainage area like oral cavity.
It is not an emergency.
You can wait till she completes her tour unless the lump grows or more lumps appear. Once she completes her trip if the lump persists, take her to a Surgeon, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,i will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

its not directly under the chin more on the side of the chin but not on the side of the neck if that makes sense,
would that still be the same diagnosis
is the fact that is is not painful at all of no concern

                                    Brief Answer:
It could be lymphnode only.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
An enlarged lymphnode is not always painful. Based on your description I shall still consider an enlarged lymph node as the most likely possibility. It isn't an immediate concern. Lipoma, a deposit of fat is my next close differential.
She can go ahead with the trip. If the lump persists, she can consult a surgeon who can plan FNAC or biopsy.
Wish her good health.
