Brief Answer:
Seems nothing serious, can be a small petechie following injury due to fall

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to Healthcare Magic..

I have gone through you query and can very well understand your concern..

As per your explanation of symptoms and images that you have sent it seems that the small blue spot on the gum of your child is nothing serious and it seems to be a small petechie which has occurred as a result of injury caused by either falling or due to some hard food or toothbrush bristle or something that he must have put in mouth that injured the gum leading to minor bleed from some small blood vessel..
It is no way a sign of Leukemia and just stay relaxed as it will resolve gradually..

The light red spots over the gums also does not seems to be anythig serious and if it developed just before the canine tooth erupted it can be an Eruption Hematoma which resolves on its own as the teeth erupts progressively and it is not any pathology..

The Petechie on his hand is due to injury following fall and is also due to minor bleeding from a small blood vessel and that too will resolve without any complication..

The swollen lymph nodes occurs commonly due to infections and your son has a history of Hand foot and mouth disease so the swollen lymph nodes can be due to it as the lymph nodes take a comparatively longer time as compared to the resolution of infection and the lymph nodes will gradually reduce in size and finally resolve completely..
You can do warm [NOT HOT] compresses over the lymph nodes for faster resolution..

In short you need not to worry as there seems nothing serious and you can just relax but still if you have some doubt left you can once consult a Paediatric dentist and get a clinical evaluation done in which also I'm pretty sure there will be nothing serious found..

As you are pregnant stress is not good for you so better relax and stay positive as nothing is serious in you toddler's case..

For any more query you can write me back..
I'm always here to help you..

Take care..

Thanks and regards..

Hwo much time does it take yo heal...when should I visit the dentist.is there any surgical process if spot doesnt heal....he eats like horse and very active he is taking so many fruits and vegetables per day....and one more thing he is very late teether his second molar has not errupted yet...
one more thing by any chance this blue spot is due to the cannine pushing out.

Brief Answer:
Yes there is improvement, no need to worry at all..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome Again..

You need not to worry dear, as per the evaluation of the previous and the latest images the spot has become light and seems to be improving.
Its the 6th day and the spot can take a further few more days to resolve and it seems to be due to some injury and not due to erupting canine and it is healing and will gradually disappear..
The other thing is that your child is not very late in his eruption of teeth as a few months plus or minus the exact eruption timings is not considered abnormal..
The second deciduous molar erupt by the age of 25 to 33 months for upper deciduous second molar [that is in between of about 2 to 3 years] and 23 to 31 months [that is also about 2 years to before 3 years of age] for lower deciduous second molar..
As your son is 2.8 years of age don't you worry as the molar will erupt in a few months..
In case if they do not erupt in next 6 months then you can consult a Paediatric dentist and get him evaluated with an x ray to rule out the status of the tooth within the bone..
Right now all seems fine and let your child grow the way he is growing and you too take care of yourself and the new baby that will be coming soon..

All the best..

Take care..

Thanks and regards..

Brief Answer:
it will fade away...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is really good that now you are relaxed and the cause is removed..
The corn piece must have injured any small blood vessel leading to a small petechie..
It will fade away gradually..
Just maintain a good Oral hygiene of your toddler and I wish that he grows well and healthy..

Take care of yourself too..

Thanks and regards..
