Question : I twisted my ankle 8 wks ago and its better but not the heel of my foot still hard to bear weight. Heel swollen.

Thanks for your query

After going through your query I came to know that you got sprained your ankle 8 weeks back. It is better now but your heel is swollen . Elevation of limb over pillow during resting and sleeping periods will be helpful to reduce swelling. Active exercises of ankle and foot will be of help in reducing swelling. For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen.

What is mode of injury? You can get x ray of ankle AP and lateral view to rule out fracture.
