Question : Hello, I have a swollen vein in my left temple that just appeared today pulsating. No headache or trauma that I know of. I have factor five lydon so I am nervous.

Brief Answer: Do you have pain?Is it warm? Detailed Answer: Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM. I would be interested to know some more information about the swollen vein- Does it feel warm on the surface of the swelling? Is there redness locally? Is it associated with pain? In the presence of these features I were to suspect superficial thrombosis, do basic tests related to blood clotting and treat by using blood thinners like acenocoumarol or heparin. Do not panic. Keep me posted for further queries
