Question : Why can't I stay focused on a task and finish it before I move into another? I'm having trouble at work with being able to concentrate on one thing before I start another. I constantly have co workers telling me I need to work on it but I don't know how. I'm worried because I just started back at school this week and I'm worried that I will start to fall behind because I can't seem to stay focused.

Your description suggest that these symptoms might be the part of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD).

I would suggest you to visit a psychiatrist for proper assessment and treatment.

Psychostimulant drugs like amphetamine, methylphenidate and atomoxetine are used for treatment of ADHD with good results. Your local doctor will know about it. Perhaps he/she can consider the same to treat you.
