Question : Hi, my 16yr. Old daughter has been complaining of pressure on her chest. It just started about 3 weeks ago. It doesn't happen everyday, but when it happens she says it feels like someone is pressing on her chest and she feels like little needles stabbing her, poking sensation. It's not very painful, but just mostly pressure.

I have carefully gone through your query. It seems that your daughter is getting gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). That could explain the symptoms. In that case I would suggest you to give her small but frequent meals. Long intervals between meals needs to be avoided. Spicy and junk food needs to be avoided too. I think that with these measures she would be fine. Taking prilosec (omeprazole) once daily before breakfast should be helpful.

You can get a ECG done but I do not think that anything conclusive will come up.
