Question: I have 2 problems First I am wondering if I might have a bowel complaint My movements are a bit peculiar I can go to the toilet in the morning normally but then maybe a half-one hour later I need to go again but this time I have no control. It is not diarrhoea but very soft. That might happen a second time and then I am alright for the day?this happens for a few days or longer every now and again but I can't attribute it to anything in particular. I am 69 years old female no conditions and not on any medication.Active but get exhausted easilyThat is my second complaint. My BP is about120/80 I weigh 9 stone 7 pounds and am 5ft 4" tall
That is my long story.Do you think I should investigate it?

This is going on about 8 months. Diet is quite good lots of veg no white bread not too much meat . I do have a sweet tooth. My sins! An odd glass of wine. I don't have any pain but do feel pressure or sort of bloated lower down . There are times when it does not.occur but I can't pin it down to any cause

Hi,
I have read your message.
In view of the additional information the symptoms are suggestive of a possible IBS.
You will feel better with
1. high fiber diet
2. plenty of fluids
3. multivitamins course once a day
4. antibiotics like rifaximin
5. amitryptiline
Please meet a gastroenterology specialist in your area to confirm the diagnosis before starting the treatment.
Best of luck. Dr Mittal

I already do 1,2 and 3 of your answer and have no idea why I would need amitryptline so I will see a gastroenterologist.
Thank you
