Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms seem to be related to Raynaud's phenomenon.
Coreg may trigger this clinical situation.
I recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and performing further tests to investigate for other possible causes underlying this symptomatology:
- complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels for possible dysfunction
- inflammation tests ( PCR, sedimentation rate) for possible autoimmune disorder
- kidney and renal function tests
- fasting glucose.
Further tests ( rheumatoid factor, antiphospholipidic antibodies, etc.) May be needed.
Meanwhile, I recommend stopping coreg, which can trigger this clinical situation.
You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
