Question: I have had symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for one and half years. I had an appointment at Stanford in December but they had to schedule for September next year. I know I can make it I just don't want to wait. This illness is making me highly disfuncationale. I think I used be able to spell that word. Brain fog is trying to take over my brain.

Brief Answer:
Yoga, acupuncture, exercise and counselor can help.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I think there is not a specific treatment for you to treat it definitely. I think talking to a counselor can help you to cope with brain fog and to ease everyday tasks. Family and friends support is very important in easing the negative feelings. Also doing exercise gradually increasing intensity can help the wellbeing and reduce fatigue.

Yoga and acupuncture can help you to function better with everyday tasks. You can take vitamin B 12, vitamin C, magnesium.
Pain killers such Advil may be used if you have headache or muscle ache. Antidepressants can be used but only by medical prescription.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
