Question: Hello , I'm in desperate need for answers , I was hoping I could get them here , I've been to the ent doctor twice , he said I'm inflamed around my voice box , but there is another feeling I'm feeling like something flapping in my throats but the dr says he sees nothing , and it's sore and it seems that under my tongue hurts with it
Brief Answer:
Since you have an inflamed voice box, I will suggest the following.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM,
Since you have an inflamed voice box, I will suggest the following.
You can gargle with a warm solution of Alum--and do not spit out. Swallow it very slowly--twice a day.
Also gargle similarly with Betadine twice a day.
Take a good multivitamin with B complex, vitamin C and Zinc in it.
It may take a couple of weeks, but you should improve.
Since your ENT doctor has examined you, I would not worry about the flapping bit for the present.
You can additionally try an anti allergic tablet like Fexofenadine 120 mg once a day.
Please revert back.
Regards
