Question : My friend called and told me that my old girlfriend called and said that she tested positive for syphilis and is getting the treatments for three weeks I have not seen her since about three years we had relations two years ago, what do I need to do and what is the treatments for syphilis none of the other studs showed up on her test

Detailed Answer:
If you didnt experience any symptoms such as skin ulcers,bumps, urethral discharge or pain in genitals then possibility of siphilis is very low. However in some cases it can be asymptomatic for few year so I would recommend syphilis testing just to be 100% sure. There is no need for treatemnt if there isnt proven infection. If it is proven then it can be easily treated today with 3 weeks course of antibiotics. WIsh you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
