Suggest Treatment For Tachycardia

Question: Thank you. I have been diagnosed with tachycordia. No combination of medications has worked..not calcium channel blockers, beta blockers..with warfarin...or anything else that should slow the heart
rate.
It has been recommended that as the above drugs cause drowsiness and generally a tired feeling..and as I feel a million times better when I am not taking them, that ablation - now - is my only choice.
I am active and having a demanding profession, which I enjoy...and wish to continue..even at age 60.
Thank you, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
Ablation is the best choice in case of uncontrolled tachycardia

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

In this case when normal heart rate can't be achieved with medication, the best choice is ablation.
It will be the most favorable decision for you, too. As after ablation you will take less medication and will feel better, also you can continue your active lifestyle.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
