The tail bone I very compact and hard to fracture. When it happens the fracture is stable and rest alongside pain management is all that is required. You are doing the right things and all would be okay. If the pain gets too severe, seek a doctors' consult for xray just to make sure we know what we are dealing with.

Hi, Thank you, I have been dealing with this horrible pain for almost 2 weeks now and nothing helps. I have tried ice, heat, advil, tylenol, lidoderm patches, and a tens unit and nothing makes the pain any less better. Sitting is a very painful experience.

I am so sorry too hear about this severe pain. The medications you take are only well adapted for minor pains. I will suggest that you get an x-ray and also use more potent medications for pain to address this.
