Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

The antibiotics are for bacterial skin infection, but often inflammation of the foreskin is from yeast overgrowth and an anti-yeast cream is needed. I don't know what type of cream you were given, but if you are still having swelling of the foreskin and tearing after 3 days, it's time to go back in to be seen.

Keeping the area as dry as possible is important as yeast like warm moist environments. So after bathing or showering, dry the area as much as possible, including considering using a hair dryer on low setting (so you don't burn your skin).

If you are diabetic or pre diabetic, keeping sugars well controlled (not high) is important.

But I do think if there has been no improvement, it's time to go back in. Don't wait further.
