Question :
I hurt my r. wrist on XXXXXXX 10, and had it exrayed that next day, the exrays showed no fractures,. I was told that i had tendonitis in the wrist.
i was put on medication to take the inflamation away but it is still hurting bad way up to the elbow. it burns and has sharp pain if i move it even a little bit. i have iced it and used the wrist splint as directed, to no avail.
what is your opinion about this injury? should I have it exrayed again?
thank you , Dot

Brief Answer:
MRI better

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
Repeating an X ray will not help.
X ray shows only bony tissue reliably.
That we know is already correct.
I would suggest MRI of the area instead.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal
