Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection And Blood In Mucus

Question: Hi,

I am 35 yrs old male
Last week i have a throat infection..followed by a cold..2 days back i tool livcitogen pill

I can still some irritation in throat..i mean some uneasiness..i can feel the plum
when i spit it..i can see some blood in the mucus or plum..whatever we call it

Anything to worry ?

1. A slight blood tinged sputum and throat irritation/discomfort after a sore throat and cold is very common.

2. Get your throat and nose examined again. Your doctor can then prescribe medication to lessen the symptoms.

3. There is no cause for worry. A medicated gargle (such as Betadine), an anti allergic (such as Relent), a mild anti inflammatory medication (such as Disperzyme) and bland food will usually settle this problem in a few days.
