Question : Hi doctor,

Im a allergic rhinitis sufferer and i woke up with a pain on the back of my throat.

Is this an Inflamation or VIRAL or BACTERIAL infection?

No fever yet.

I have gone through your question, reports and understand your concern; it suggests that most probably you may be suffering from the pharyngitis of bacterial origin.

I would like to suggest that you may go for the throat swab culture and antibiotic sensitivity to rule out the bacterial origin and for specific antibiotic.
