I have pain in my throat. I feel slight pain in swallowing water/food.
Brief Answer:
please gargle with XXXXXXX warm salt water
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
There can be many reasons for the pain, the most common being a viral infection.
Please don't worry as this will generally subside by itself.
You should avoid cold items, tea, coffee, alcohol and spicy food!
Please take tablet paracetamol 500 mg as and when the pain occurs.
For the time being I don't think you will need an antibiotic, but I would like you to gargle with warm salt water2-3 times a day.
Hope this answers your query. If any further questions, will be happy to help.
Thanks
