Question : My mother has a large duodenum ulcer causing nausea ,pain and excess mucus in the throat .She is on a liquid diet for now. What is the best treatment for her condition?

The best treatment would be twice a day PPI like omeprazole ,which she has already been prescribed. Adding a prokinetic like oral domperidone will help her with the nausea. Additionally she can be prescribed ondansetron tablets on an as required basis for nausea.
