Brief Answer:
Discharge & throbbing: Possiblity of infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for unusual feeling on left cheek.

From your query I can get two important findings:

1. Some sort of leakage

2. Throbbing

Both of these symptoms indicates towards mild to moderate infection at the concerned site.

Any sort of discharge from skin and that too with leakage is a definite indication of infection. With a reference to your right cheek there are no such symptoms present with the same procedure done on both the sides indicate the likely possibility of the same.

So it is indicate of problem of infection on left side. I suggest you to consult your doctor again and tell him or her regarding the possibility.

In my patients with your kind of problem I generally examine the area personally. According to the extent of involvement and pain, I give a course of antibiotic best suited for the condition.

For the interim of the help I suggest you to not to pinch, pop or even touch the area.

You can clean the area with an antiseptic lotion. Clean it with antiseptic lotion for two times. You can clean with any antiseptic lotion diluted in boiled water. A tea spoon of antiseptic is sufficient for a cup of water. Do not apply directly.

A pain killer tablet along with Serratiopeptidase can be taken for two times after good meals. It would be of great help in early healing, reducing the inflammation and pain.

I again suggest you to meet the doctor personally and get the area analyzed properly.

I hope these informations will help you. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.

Wish you good health,

With regards,
