Question : for about a month my right arm, is now the explaination is wierd been going numb but yet tinglie with some pain i understand how are you numb yet their be pain it's a wierd pain more like a deep ach is the best I can describ it then 4 day's ago my ankles swelled up like elephant man or something. now it's feet also and the left one is starting too have tingling pain associated too it and like pin's and needles and the right hand on palm the part under thumb is like itching also right shoulder has like crunchyness sorry best I can describe i did menopause and stop bleeding about 14 months ago thanks

Hi,

In my opinion there are two aspects:

1. Pain in the arm and crunchiness in the shoulder- Both these symptoms can be explained by presence of pressure on one of the nerves in neck which will cause pain , paresthesia and crunchiness in shoulder( due to muscle spasm).
For this I recommend pain killers, muscle relaxants and a combination of pregabalin and methycobalamine. Physiotherapy helps in this situation . X- ray of the neck would be useful in diagnosis.

2. Swelling in ankles : This is not due to post menopausal syndrome. You need to consult a physician for possible causes like blood pressure , kidney disease or any cardiac problem. He will get your relevant tests and advise accordingly.
