Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In Feet With Swelling And Numbness

Question : For the past 6 months or so I started noticing tingling in my feet and toes, no pain. Now about 2 months ago bothe feet and ankles swell badly and never really seem to go down. I rest, prop up my feet noething makes rhe swelling go down or the numbness go away. My Dr was really not concerned, gave me HCTZ which does nothing. What could be the cause and what should I do, please!

Possibility of drug induced side effects.

Hello ,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Tingling and numbness and swelling may be drug related side effects caused by VIEKIRA and ribasphere.
Swelling is common side effect of amlodipine (antihypertensive).
Is there any associated joint pain and swelling in upper limb, joint diseases, redness in ankle joint?
For benefit get your amlodipine changed to other antihypertensive like losartan, telmisartan or ACE inhibitors.
For tingling and numbness you need to get nerve conduction study, vitamin B12 levels and other tests as required after nerve conduction test.
Other causes of the ankle swelling may be cardiac, hypoproteinemia, renal dysfunction. Get evaluated and investigated and upload reports available.
