Brief Answer:
These are neuralgic pains.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your symptoms are they are suggestive of neuralgic pains. Most often, these are not due to any serious causes. They can be caused by mechanical pressure on the scalp nerves. We also need to exclude vitamin B 12 deficiency. This can be tested in blood test.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

I have another thing to check.
I have problem with my legs and arms. When I suddenly get up or starting to walk/run, or on a sudden actions on the body. My legs, arms, mouth will go out of my control for a 10-20Seconds and it will back to normal.
I have full consciousness when this thing happens. But i don't have control over my legs and arms. it will be like my legs and arms rotating.
This happens either the left arm&leg or the right one. I have this thing with me for last 12Years. I didn't consulted a doctor on this. Sorry for that, because I don't know what should I tell them or how to explain this condition. I didn't heard or see such body behaviors
Please provide me some suggestions. Thanks for helping me out.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms are suggestive of PKD

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

I have noted your additional symptoms. These are suggestive of paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia (PKD). In this condition, there are involuntary movements or lack of control of movements, which are brought on when starting to walk or run.

The diagnosis can be confirmed by a neurologist, and there are good medicines available to treat this condition.

Best wishes,

Dr Sudhir Kumar MD DM (Neurology)

Hi sir,

Thanks for helping me out. As I said earlier I'm having this said PKD problem for last 12 years, will the medicines react to it. If so what will be the approximate recovery time from this disorder. Another thing will this be dangerous in any situations?

Brief Answer:
It will respond.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

If the diagnosis of PKD is confirmed, then, it would respond to medicines even after 12 years. We can expect good recovery in 2-3 years time. It is not a dangerous condition.

Best wishes,
