Question: Sometimes when something touches my face or neck in a certain way i get a really weird sensation almost like a tingling in my left lower back. For example when i have someone blow drying my hair , when the dryer is on my neck i get the weird sensation and i have to sit straight up and its really uncomfortable. Also just the other day my cats whiskers touched my cheek and again i got that weird tingling in my left lower back.

Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Unusual sensations like those that you refer may be related to psychological problems such anxiety disorder, but also may be a feature of neurological disorders such demyelinating diseases, so, it is necessary to get evaluated by a Neurologist about these issues.

Probably imaging tests such MRI of brain and spinal cord may be necessary to understand your condition better.
