Brief Answer:
Get an xray done to rule out any bony injury.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the image attached. It could be soft tissue injury or fracture. Get an xray done to rule out any bony injury.
Beside icing and elevating it, you can take antiinflammatory drug like ibuprofen to reduce pain and inflammation. Avoid putting weight over toe and rest well.

Hope this helps you
Warm regards.

Brief Answer:
To see any displacement of fracture

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Xray is important to see any displacement of fracture, any infection to bones. I suggest you to get it evaluated by your doctor to rule out any infection.

Take care.
