Suggest Treatment For Toe Pain While On Ibuprofen

Question: i just dropped a frozen hammock onto my big toe falling from deep freezer. omg..ots killing me, instantly bruised. nailbed looks purplish. i applied ice and took 600mg ibuprofen. when i walk i feel a clicking, is it broke? or sprained. what should i do to care for it at home...or do i nees to go to dr office.

I am sorry this happened! We can't know for sure that the direct force didn't cause a fracture. Fractures that involve the big toe usually require a splint, and sometimes a cast, to heal properly (unlike the pinky toe which can just be buddy-taped). So I think you should go in to your doctor or an urgent care clinic (and if neither are available, then the ER) for an Xray to see what is going on inside the toe.
