Question : Hi, I am travelling overseas (to europe), FROM XXXXXXX and would like to carry some stomach upset medicines as emergency. I will buy these here in XXXXXXX so please aadvise brands available i XXXXXXX I have a relatively weak stomach and no gall bladder. If I have a major stomach upset what medication should I take? In XXXXXXX it is usually a course of Norflox tz 1-0-1 and immodium on sos. please advise. also I am diabetic and am on glycomet gp 1. i have a mild ckd also (creatinine is 1.72)

Stomach upset is a problem one can have travelling abroad and hence medicine should be kept in reserve.
If one has severe stomach upset, I generally advise the following-
Modification of diet.
ORS solution to replenish the total loss and also to combat ongoing loss.
Antispasmodic medicines in case of pain abdomen.
Antibiotics like ofloxacin-ornidazole like oflomacOZ O2 brakke etc. Or one can take norfloxacin tinidazole like you mentioned.
Also imodium can be used in severe cases.
You can consult your family or treating doctor about the above.
