Question: can I send you a x-ray? what can I or should I do? They say I have a twisted intestine. I don't trust Chinese hospitals. Can I take antibiotics (ciprobay)?

Brief Answer:
I don't think there are any signs of twisted intestine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have gone through your findings in detail.
I don't think there are any signs of twisted intestine in abdomen X-ray.Twisted intestine may lead to obstruction and there should be air-fluid level in abdomen X-ray.
There are no air-fluid level,so this doesn't support twisted intestine.
Gas is seen in both sides of abdomen, this is also against twist.
However, your condition need clinical correlation. You may need further investigations like CT scan depending upon clinical findings.
You can take antibiotics empirically.

Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.
Further queries are most welcome.

Hi Doc

It was an upright xray. If obstruction is not detected, what could be the cause of the abdominal cramps (arrives in spasms, now suppresses as I have taken Panadol)?

Thanks

Brief Answer:
I suggest for ultrasound of abdomen.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Abdominal X-ray is generally taken in standing position.
Abdominal cramps may be due to many reasons like muscle spasm, acidity etc.
It is good that you have responded to panadol.
I suggest for ultrasound of abdomen. It is very helpful in excluding many causes.
