Question : My daughter is suffering typhoid o 1/320 kindly suggesst treatment.Age is 13 years.
blood report shows typhoid o 1/320

Thanks for the query

Typhoid is mainly treated with antibiotic. Cefixime is a good antibiotic for typhoid.The dose of Cefixime is 20 mg/kg/day in two divided dosage.Please consult a physician for prescription of medicine.
Give paracetamol for fever.
Continue giving feed and give plenty of fluid to maintain the hydration.
