Suggest Treatment For Ulcer Looking Sores On Penis

default
Posted on Wed, 22 Oct 2014
Question: I recently had ulcer looking sores on my penis and went to the doctor and had her look at them and she said she'd prescribe me medication for breakouts but that she thought it looked more like it was from rougher than usual sex. we have had anal sex recently with lube. I thought that could be the cause of it. but now that the sores are almost gone I'm starting to feel a slight discomforting feeling in the underside of the tip of my penis. and also my girlfriend said she was spotting after sex for the second time now. which usually would alarm me since her birth control always messes it up. but now that I'm getting this almost Bruning feeling it's begging to worry me more.

Brief Answer:
Please, be calm and relaxed about this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I have reviewed the information that you have provided fully and am not too particularly worried about the trend of events. To me, this is not suggestive of a possible STD as you have been with the same sexual partner all through. The sores you just described would have been likely caused by rougher sex and not herpes as your partner didn't have them and it would be difficult to explain from where you got this if it were to be an infection.

For now, you need to relax and be calm about this. Take more time to understand exactly what is going on. Spotting after intercourse could signal an infection but the absence of pain makes this more suggestive of a possible trauma related bleeding. Try to be gentle during next sexual intercourse and see whether the same symptoms would be reproduced. If this be the case, she should seek for further medical examination and maybe testing. Also, observe and gather more information about this burning feeling that you have reported. It am more convinced it is a transient sensation and nothing much to worry about on long term basis.

In all, these symptoms are not suggestive of an ongoing STD. More information would be collected over time to say whether this is the case or not. They are ore suggestive of trauma related than an infection or ongoing infectious process.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
