Brief Answer:
Depends upon symptoms. Get surg for hernia

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX Surgery would depend upon her complaints or symptoms as we call it. I suggest that the Umbilical hernia should be operated but the Fibroid should be dealt with only if she has problems of bleeding or pain, etc. For this you should consult a Gynecologist. It can also be removed without removing the Uterus. So explore all options before going in for Uterus removal for the Fibroid. Do let me know if I can help you with any more queries on the subject. Take care.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms unlikely due to Fibroid

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX These symptoms that you mention are probably not due to the fibroid. They are mostly due to the Umbilical hernia. However, the limb pain is not explained by either. That you should get evaluated by a Surgeon and you should consult a Gynecologist before going in for fibroid Surgery as also to discuss what type of surgery would be ideal for it.
If you do decide to get operated for both then get it done together so that she is exposed to Anaesthesia only once. But definitely get the hernia operated. Take care and do lete know if I have been unable to resolve your queries.
