Question : My Fasting Sugar remains around 200 i.e. 180-220 and p.p. 280-320. I am taking Exermet GM 501 twice a day i.e. in morning with breakfast and in the evening with dinner. Also taking some Ayurvedic Juices of Karela & Jamun. There are no symptons like excessive thirst, excessive urination, weakness etc. Please suggest the medicines dose. Suffering since last 7 years.

Hi,

As I read through your query you are a diabetic with uncontrolled blood sugars both fasting and after meal. Your current medications Exermet GM is just insufficient to control your blood sugars.

If I treat I would have increased the frequency to four times a day and retest the HbA1c after one month. If it is still more than 7% I would add one more drug Januvia.

The other important thing is you are missing exercise and diet plan. This is very crucial to keep the blood sugars under control. I cannot prescribe you medicines online without a follow up. I suggest you meet a local Diabetologist. Jamun and Karela are not proven to control blood sugars in diabetics with uncontrolled sugars.

So please do not waste time and get the right doses.
