Suggest Treatment For Unexplained Fatigue, Weakness And Insomnia

Question: I have been dealing with unexplained fatigue, weakness, insomnia, and body aches for around 3 months. It is getting to the point where it is very debilitating. I am a healthy 34 y/o male. I worked out 5-6 days a week, eat super healthy, and never have to go to the doctor except for my yearly physical.
I have had multiple lab draws, all of which coming back normal. The next step they want me to do is a sleep study, which I have scheduled. Over the last month, the body aches have been getting worse, particularly in my legs and I notice it more at night and when I am resting. I did some research and restless leg syndrome came up, which seems very much like the symptoms I have. One of the causes mentioned was iron deficiency. My serum iron came back at 81 and my saturation percentage at 24%. Are these low enough to suspect iron deficiency? Is it possible that the numbers could be lower since I've had my labs drawn, which was a little over a month ago?

Brief Answer:
Iron level and transferrin saturation are normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The level of serum Iron and Transferrin saturation are normal, so it is not Iron deficiency that causes your symptoms.
You should wait for sleep study results in order to confirm or exclude Restless legs syndrome.

What would you recommend for my next step? If I am having issues with sleep, such as apnea, could that cause body aches?
Brief Answer:
It is possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for asking back.
Your symptoms are more consistent with sleep apnea tha restless legs syndrome.
Sleep apnea can cause body aches by awakening you suddenly and periodically during the night.
You should wait for the sleep examination results in order to properly diagnose your problem.
