Brief Answer:
Medicine only if PCOD present; else, Lasers best.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there XXXXXXX
First... one needs to rule out any hormonal issues eg . PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease) by doing a regular blood test for the PCOD profile &/or an abdomino-pelvic ultrasound to rule out secreting ovarian cysts.
Medicines' will only help if there is a hormonal imbalance.
Next..if this is ruled out, go in for laser hair treatments' & will be about 90% effective ...using either an Diode, IPL or Nd-Yag lasers' in that order of preference going by my clinical experiences.
For all this, you will need to be 'assessed' in person by a dermatologist & please do source this healthcaremagic site to source one closest to you. If passing by through XXXXXXX I would be most happy to oblige.
