Brief Answer:
Consider connective tissue disorders.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

I don't think this is MS, fibromyalgia is a possible condition that may relate to these symptoms, but you have been treated about it with no improvement.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any evaluation or tests to assess rheumatoid arthritis or connective tissue disorders, as possible conditions that may cause your symptoms.

I think there is need for screening with blood tests about CBC, CRP, sedimentation rate, ANA, rheumatoid factor, anti-CCP.

Muscle biopsy also may be of help in achieving a correct diagnosis of your condition.

Discuss with your primary care Doctor about getting these tests done.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.

I have had an enormous amount of blood work. I have been tested for r/a. I did have a hysterectomy at age 35 due to fibroids. The only thing my bloodwork showed was that I am hypo thyroid. I have been on medications since. Ive had Acupuncture/electroacupuncture. I have a tens machine. All of these things help while I,m in the process of using them yet no residual effects. I know Ive had multiple cbc chemistry panels and was tested for rheumatoid arthritis. I have another Doctors appointment on Friday. I don't know what to ask anymore.

Brief Answer:
Narcotic painkillers, consider evoked potentials.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

In this case I suggest to get evaluated further with evoked somatosensory and motor potentials to have a better understanding of your condition and to get a differentiation between neurological and rheumatic conditions.

Narcotic painkillers such hydrocodone, oxycodone etc. should be considered as symptomatic treatment about your pain.

Hope I helped you.

Take care.
