Suggest Treatment For Upper Back Pain
Question: Hi dr. My mother is having upper back pain from last 2-3 days. Please suggest some medication for her. Her age is 60 yrs.

You can give her Cap Omeprazole 20 mg Once Daily before breakfast and a mild pain killer available over the counter, do a hot compress in the area and ask her to take rest. Avoid hot and spicy food and increase the water intake. In case the pain still persists then it is best to consult her physician for a direct examination and related investigations to find out the cause.

thanks doctor for the response. she always get stomach pain or stomach upset whenever she take pain killers. please suggest what we can do for that.
