Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Infection And Dull Pain In Armpits

default
Posted on Mon, 16 Feb 2015
Question: Just wondering if an upper respiratory infection can linger for over a month? I have had tightness in my chest, dull pain in my armpits, intermediate pain in my chest, both left and right side, but mostly on the left side above breast. On a side note, I have 2 moles under my left breast that were oozing for a few days, they seem to have healed, but are itchy and sore. This happened a couple of weeks ago.

Brief Answer:
GERD And Asthma causing RTIs

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

i read your question and i understand your concern. Recurrent upper respiratory infections are very possible with your case due to the asthma and GERD in your history.

Asthma causes the respiratory infections more likely and are very common complaint in asthmatics . A full management of asthma with allergen prevention and bronchodilator therapy may spare the recurrence.

GERD is also one main reason for recurrent respiratory tract infections due to reflux materials causing irritation of upper airways leading to inflammation or airways and ultimately infection.

You have to nip the evil in the bud. Get GERD managed and control the asthma exacerbations and upper respiratory infections which are just collateral damages of these primary illnesses.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discusison please.
