Get BP checked, diet and meet physician if symptoms worsens.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I understand your concern. Nose bleeds commonly occur due to dry climate, winters or cold. It is common in the morning. Causes can be due to - allergies, colds and infection, trauma or deviated septum.
It is serious concern if she is having bleeding more than 20 mins. As you say she has headache every morning and evening, I would suggest she gets her BP checked, as high BP also can lead to nose bleeds.
For prevention:
- Try to avoid picking your nose and engaging in forceful nose-blowing.
- Limit your use of NSAIDs and other anticoagulants, control your blood pressure, and quit smoking.
- You can also add a humidifier to your home and maintain a low heat in sleeping areas.
Stomach upset can be due to food poisoning or gastritis. I would suggest her to avoid spicy and oily foods. Include lots of fluids, buttermilk and curd (probiotics) in her diet.
I hope this answered your query.
With regards,
