Question : I have just started using a XXXXXXX clamp to reduce my incontinence problem and am experiencing considerable swelling of the penis foreskin in the area above the placement of the clamp. Should I be concerned about this?

You will need to talk to your doctor about this. Swelling might be caused by an allergic reaction, onset of an infection or poor placement. This needs to be reviewed by your doctor so as to identify the exact problem and treat accordingly. Also, does it hurt? Any change in the skin coloration around that area?

Thank you for your prompt response to my medical issue. In answer to your question, there is no pain and the skin in the swollen area of the penis is red.
