Question : My daugher got pricked herself from a syringe needle which was fallen in her school ground. She tried to open the syringe which was closed and hurt herself. Soon i washed her hand with water. But still i m scared if any infection if shez prone

Most of the bacteria or Virus cannot survive outside for more than a minute . So I need to know whether that Syringe was used recently or sometimes ago or can't be told .

It was not the fresh syringe i suppose because i was there itself for quite a long time , it was fallen on the ground in a dry place,,, but i am scared because the needle was closed and she was trying to open it,,, please advice me what precautions i need to take,,,

It is very unlikely for your daughter to get any significant infections .

I advise you to get her a shot of Tetanus injection. Apart from this there is nothing that needs to be done.
