Question: Hello Doctor I have been regularly reporting you my eye trouble.my eye is operated for cataract in the month of may, 2015.I had been suffering from uveitis earlier since last October. I m non diabitic.u have my few reports also. The problem which I m facing right now is my eye become red at right corner below pupil. It slightly pains. And after putting eyemist and pred forte the redness disappears within 2/3 days. Today I visited opthalmologist . he examined my eye and said not to worry .continue pred forte for twice a day for5 days & continue for 6 months later. My question to u is that pl tell whether my doctor is giving me right treatment or not. Should I go to other doctor? Does this uveitis really cured fully? After putting pred forte for 2 times a day will it cause blurry vision. My eyes remain stressed all the time. Floaters are there but I m used to them now. 5% reduction in floaters as I feel. Doctor also prescribed Eyemist once a day. I cant read any thing without spects, Already I was using spects for long as well as near sightedness. Now number has been reduced.

Brief Answer:
uvitis

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for getting back to us.
There are 2 components either it is surgery induced where tt reduces the response and if your uvitis wad due to pre existing arthritis then there are recurrences.
The tt given by your doctor looks good
Stress does not cause redness of eye
Uvitis will not effect the artificial lens.
You can watch movies and read books.
I feel your query is fully answered.

Brief Answer:
uvitis

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for getting back to us.
There is not much as far as food and precautions that you can do to prevent uvitis.Of course keeping good general health is always welcome.
Important to note for you is that any redness and or dimunision of vision should warn you of impending uvitis and start immediate treatment and not to wait.
Your vision will be fine as you are a alert patient as follow up is important
