Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Bleeding And Discomfort

Question: Hi I had a copper t inserted about a month and a half ago and have had my period after that. I had experienced vaGinal bleeding before my last period and had discomfort during inter course. After my period the bleeding had stopped but I still experienced some discomfort in my pelvic area during sex. Now just before my second period I am experiencing slight vaginal bleeding/dark brown discharge and mild discomfort. Is it normal or should I see a doctor again?

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It is very common to have these symptoms because while removing copper t there occurs slight injury to the cervix which takes around 20-30 days to heal and that is causing discomfort during intercourse.
The slight bleeding before periods will subside from next cycle onwards but in case it doesn't then get an ultrasound done and see for reports and then we can decide further management.
Take care.

Hi doctor. I have had a copper t inserted and not removed. Also this will be my second cycle after copper t insertion.
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
I wanted to say insertion only.
Removal of copper t is painless and has no symptoms.
You can take tablet ethamsylate plus mefanamic acid in case bleeding gets bothersome or there occurs pain during periods.
In initial 2-3 cycles there is increased capillary fragility because of injury by copper t and slight cervical damage due to holding of cervix to fix it for insertion of device.
I hope you will be fine soon but in case you have other questions I will be happy to help.
