Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Irritation And Itching
Question: Hi Doctor, I was having vaginal irritation and itching. The doctor has prescribed Fas-3 kit along with clingen vaginal suppositories for 7 days. Can I avoid clingen and use something else instead? I am also going for a beach holiday while the treatment is on therefore I wanted to ask if I could go in the sea or the pool? How often can I have intercourse?

You are having a mixed vaginal infection which needs the full treatment including oral antibiotics and the vaginal suppository- Clingen. Incomplete treatment will cause recurrent infections.
Having intercourse before the complete treatment will cause recurrence. It is best to get your partner also treated to avoid recurrence. Instead of using clingen for 7 days you can use Candid V3 which is a 3 days therapy. You can go to sea or pool after 3 days.

Thank you for the reply doctor. Is candid v3 as effective as clingen? Also I will be taking a flight tomorrow evening therefore can I insert one tablet tonight and the second tablet tomorrow during the day? Will it work if it is inside for only 2-3 hours?
